Muhammad Latif an academic and consultant at the
Manchester Metropolitan University, (UK) aims to develop
awareness and opportunities in Business Process
Simulation (BPS) using industry standard software. “Such
tools and techniques are quite common in European
leading-edge organizations as they promote best
practices and improve operational performance but sadly
are rarely seen in Pakistan” says Dr Latif.The key
note speech is planned to be delivered at the University
of Central Punjab (Lahore) during the Doctoral Symposium
on Research in Computer Science on August 9-10th, 2008.
Dr Latif has over 10 years of BPS experience in both
academia and industry. He has developed simulation
expertise through involvement with numerous UK-based
organizations in both service and manufacturing sectors. |
